How to build and download your résumé

1. Choose a template and replace any sample information with your own.
2. Fill in Contact and Summary, then add work experience, education, and skills. Include relevant accomplishments and check your dates and contact details.
3. To import an existing résumé, use Upload with a Word .docx file up to 5 MB. PDF and image uploads are not supported. Download a backup first: imports can replace draft sections. Review every imported field.
4. Use Edit, Split, or Preview to review the document. On desktop, drag the divider in Split view to resize the preview.
5. Sign in and activate access to edit, save, print, and download. One subscription covers all five builders: USD $1.99 per week or $7.99 per month, automatically renewing until canceled. Cancel anytime in Account & billing; access continues through your paid-through date.
6. Wait for the Saved confirmation when saving to your account. Account saves and downloaded files are separate copies.
7. Review your work and select Confirm Edits when prompted, then Download to save a .docx file. Open it in Word or Google Docs to check formatting, print, or export to PDF.
